Spring uses two primary printing methods for custom apparel:
Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing
Screen printing
Both methods produce high-quality results. Our system automatically determines which printing technique is used for each order based on factors such as product type, material, order quantity, and artwork details.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is used for select product types and higher-quantity orders.
This method is especially well-suited for:
Larger order volumes
Designs with solid colors
Products with higher polyester blends
Screen printing involves creating a separate stencil (screen) for each color in the artwork. Ink is pushed through the screen mesh onto the garment using a press and squeegee. Each color is applied individually, then cured in a dryer to ensure durability.
Why screen printing?
Long-lasting results
Excellent color vibrancy
Ideal for bulk production
When properly cared for, a screen print typically lasts as long as the garment itself.
Direct-to-Garment (DTG) Printing
Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing is Spring’s primary printing method.
DTG uses advanced digital textile printers that apply ink directly onto the garment. The garment is held in place while specialized printheads spray the design onto the fabric. The ink is then heat-cured for durability.
Why DTG?
Ideal for one-off and small-quantity orders
Supports detailed designs and complex artwork
Allows for unlimited color combinations
Environmentally friendly, nonhazardous, toxin-free inks
DTG is particularly effective for intricate designs with gradients, shading, and great detail.
Quality Standards
Spring is committed to delivering high-quality printed products using both DTG and screen printing.
Before production begins, all uploaded designs undergo a thorough art review to ensure optimal print results. Our production teams maintain strict quality control standards throughout every stage of printing and fulfillment.
We continuously review and improve our production processes to ensure creators can confidently sell products that their fans will be proud to wear.
